PlayStation Plus games catalog September 2025

In the September PlayStation Plus lineup, three very different titles are waiting — each one hard to group with the others. On one side, a quirky, smartly written platform adventure about psychic spies; on the other, a cult-favorite cozy farming sim; and finally, a puzzle game where a single photograph can literally reshape the world. Starting September 2, PS Plus subscribers can add to their library: Psychonauts 2 (PS4), Stardew Valley (PS4), and Viewfinder (PS4/PS5).
Psychonauts 2 | PS4
Razputin “Raz” Aquato — a circus acrobat and gifted young psychic — fulfills his dream of joining the international organization known as the Psychonauts. But he quickly learns that something is very wrong within their ranks: the leader hasn’t recovered from a traumatic kidnapping, and there’s a mole lurking inside headquarters.
This is a cinematic-style platform adventure where you explore the minds of allies and enemies alike. Missions are bizarre and imaginative, the humor sharp, and the action balances between absurdity and genuine emotion. At its core, gameplay revolves around jumping, exploration, and creative use of psychic powers (telekinesis, thought control, association linking), all of which can be customized to your preferences. The journey leads Raz through an intricate conspiracy involving a murderous psychic villain — mixing tension, adventure, and plenty of laughs.
Stardew Valley | PS4
You inherit a run-down farm from your grandfather and, with only a handful of coins in your pocket, set off to Stardew Valley to begin a new life. Can you live off the land, restore overgrown fields, and breathe life back into the local community? It won’t be easy — ever since the Joja Corporation moved in, old habits and connections have almost vanished, and the town’s community center has fallen into ruin.
This is a game about slow but deeply rewarding building: farming, raising animals, crafting, fishing, mining, cooking, festivals, and relationships with townsfolk. Over time, you’ll learn the rhythm of the seasons and discover that the greatest reward isn’t your harvest, but the rebirth of community. Stardew Valley is the perfect escape — cozy, yet challenging enough if you want to see real progress.
Viewfinder | PS4, PS5
Pick up an instant camera and look at the world through a brand-new lens. In this charming first-person puzzle game, you take a picture — and then… bring it into reality. By combining photographs, sketches, postcards, or paintings, you redefine the geometry of the level and solve inventive challenges. It’s a game that rewards curiosity and teaches you to see “beyond the frame.” Along the way, you gradually uncover the story behind its vibrant, surprising world.
