PlayStation Plus games catalog August 2025

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus lineup for August, and it’s impressively diverse. From a grim soulslike inspired by Pinocchio, to a brutal open-world survival game, and a high-energy anime fighter, this month’s offering covers a broad range of genres. All three titles will be available to PS Plus subscribers starting August 5.

Lies of P | PS4, PS5

This gothic soulslike reimagines the classic tale of Pinocchio as a brutal survival story. Players are thrown into the city of Krat, a Belle Époque-style metropolis overrun by madness and murderous puppets. In search of Geppetto, Pinocchio must wield interchangeable weapons and powerful “Legion Arms” – mechanical limbs with unique abilities. In this world, lying becomes a tool for survival.

DayZ | PS4

A cult-classic survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world where every decision matters. With no save points, up to 60 players on a single map, and constant threats from both infected and unpredictable survivors, DayZ delivers unrelenting tension. Explore the iconic map of Chernarus or venture into Livonia, a massive new 163 km² environment.

My Hero One’s Justice 2 | PS4

A 3D fighting game set in the popular anime universe of My Hero Academia. Packed with a huge roster of characters, each with their own distinct “quirks,” the game features flashy, over-the-top battles across wide, destructible arenas. A must-play for anime fans and action lovers alike.

PlayStation Plus Turns 15 – Free Avatar Pack

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus, a special set of free avatars will be available starting August 5. The pack includes characters from iconic games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarök, and Twisted Metal. All you need is an active PS Plus subscription – no extra cost required.
